    Default Dart pro1 platinums

I've got dart pro1's with 200cc runners and am trying to find out if I'll need offset lifters/rockers or not. I'll be upgrading to a solid roller soon and want to know if anyone has had clearance issues with these same heads? Also what dia pushrods are you guys using?

I use the earlier pro1's and I had to grind to get clearance for the pushrod. I wondered at the time about going offset rocker but had the rockers and guideplates so kept it simple.

Thanks mate. I'm in the same boat. I already have crane golds and don't want to have to buy another set. How much did you end up taking out and how long did it take you?

Not much. It's easy to do. Just bolt the guideplate on an you can sight through.
Take it slowly and keep checking. Don't take too much off cos if you ever want more power opening up the pushrod pinch point is one of the 1st things you do.

Looks like I may have to grind a little out. The push rod is just slightly rubbing and the roller tip is not quite in the centre (not sure if it matters that much as it still covers the top of the valve stem). I'm also using 5/16 push rods already is that the smallest available?

Depending on spring choice, or even regardless, the larger diameter and stiffer pushrod the better. especially since you are going to a solid roller
