    Default HJ Floor Shift Hole

I'm converting a HJ ute from column shift to 4 speed floor shift. The floor already has a hole, but has not been cut square, which I would like rectify. Can someone give me some dimensions for the hole & proper location as I don't have the engine & box ready to dummy fit. Thanks in advance.

    HI
Hole is square/rectangle with corners diagonal cut . In the corners thanks to the diag cut speed nuts are fitted . T bar Shifter sealed to floor with D mastic This how I copied mine from a factory cutout . Is a manual setup the same dunno ,probably not .For a manual u will have a boot and a retainer ring that screws to the speed nuts . Anyways sorry my vehicle is assembled [have to remove seats ] so I cannot measure hole dimensions .
