Default Does a Holden HZ/WB left hand/passenger side premier mirror exist?

    Hi All,

I'm trying to find a passenger side premier mirror for my Holden HZ to match the drivers side but cant seem to find one for sale anywhere. Can find plenty of drivers side ones.

Did Holden ever make passenger side ones?

    Example:

    yes mate...
I had 2 mirrors on my 5.0 HZ Prem wagon that i had as a co car at GMH

They are the same as HZ Prem sedan mirrors both sides
and NOT HZ GTS style ones. they were big shiny stainless jobbies

So the left and right mirror had the remote control in the door?

I would have bet money that there was never a passenger remote controlled mirror - only driver's side.

    dunno...

I remember on my Prem, the pwr window switches were at the end of the arm rest
and there was a mirror knob in the middle of the door card on the drivers side just above the armrest
Pass side mirror control...? no idea no memory of what it had or where it was because you (as driver)
set the mirror (whichever way) and then forget about it

If it is the same as a WB Series 1 they have the same mirror knob on the dash for the passenger side.

Have been looking everywhere this week and even when googling pictures of a HZ/WB ute with premier mirrors they never show one with the passenger side. So these must have been a very rare option.

Mate has a HQ Statesman mirror on his driver door and a Kingswood one on passenger. I did a search on US GM mirrors of the late 60's and early 70's, and found one very similar. It would cost a fortune to buy one and get it here, more than a set of GTS repo's.

I had a HZ caprice that had pretty well everything - even factory spoked/wire wheels and it never had a passenger side mirror. The drivers side was mechanical remote as per Ser1 WB Statesman but the actually mirror was different - more rounded whereas the WB is more rectangular. The series 1 WB had a remote passenger mirror - mechanical operated by a knob in the centre of the dash. I had a WB Ser 2 and it had electric remote mirrors - operated by a switch on centre console. I have never heard of or seen electric mirrors before the WB2 (maybe a Commodore?)...the passenger side mirror on the HZ caprice was an option - it wasn't the same as the drivers side..it was a basic mirror and not remote operated. So I would assume the prem would be the same...it wouldn't have anything that the caprice didn't have. That's why you can't find one or any info on one. PS the reason I know the passenger mirror was an option and a basic mirror was that it was covered in the Owners handbook - described as an option and had a photo of a basic mirror.
