Thread: Wanted: Cheap spray painter/re-spray.

G'day people. Just making a post to find out if there is any cheap spray painters on here or if anyone knows of any good ones. Prefer someone in the South-west area (But depending on price, location and quality of the job I may be willing to take it else where).

The body isnt in to bad condition, i'll get all the shopping trolley dents done previous to painting. It'll have a brand new bodykit (front and rear bumpers, side skirts, no spoiler) that'll need to be painted also.

I only want to spend up to about $2000 for a complete re-spray in the same colour (Genesis Blue). Im not asking for show quality that'd take weeks to prep and paint. Just a nice clean paint job with no runs and doesn't look shit up close. (Also may be interested in a colour change depending on the price, incl. door jams, boot and engine bay. Let me know if you can do that for a reasonable price aswell).

Local shops have quoted me between $4500-$6000 for an exterior only re-spray in the same colour and that is way to much for me. I know you get what you pay for, but if you can't pay for it, you can't get it.

i do a bit of sprayin but ill have a look in on my old workshop see how much u see i only pay for the paint and not the labour ok so ill let u know

if you want the engine bay, door jams and boot done the price jumps up heaps.. gotta strip out the engine bay to paint it.

also can we take this convo else where? just so the thread doesnt get whored.... *waits for somebody to say "its not gonna get whored" whilst whoring it themselves*
