    Default good engine builders

    hey ppl i was wondering if anyone could advise me on some well priced good quality engine builders as i am looking at building a 383 stroker for my vn calais. So far the cheapest has been C.O.M.E racing. Including the freight there and back full rebuild with everything new plus there twin throttle body manifold and a 3000rpm converter im looking at 11500. Can anyone beat that

    yeah but i spoke th them yesterday and they said the crate motors arent as good because they have to accomidat the price of the block etc in the price.

    Ha, yep 308 perf are terrible with the phone. I've dealt with performance unlimited too and recommend them -but they can be exxy. GTS (in Bunbury) have a bunch of guys there who love their Holden strokers... and get C.O.M.E stuff at good prices.

    does it have to be local?

    there are guys all over the country who are top engine builders and can build engines that make power.

    TK from this forum builds some hot engines and details them on the forum. maybe worth a look.

    shopping price only definitely will not give the best result. I would think that there would be several shops on the west coast that will do quality work, & you'll save on freight now & if you have problems later.
