Default Too low for wheel allignment???...

Has anyone ever heard of a car being too low for a wheel allignment?? my car just got lowerd and the front tryes would be allmost at the point of tucking but they dont and I have 20"s on it... I wont say what place said this but I was not too happy hey... Now I have to find another place to take it anoyone kno a "specialist" in perth that can do the job???

haha to make my morning more eventfull...When I rang to see if it was ready the person who answerd the phone said that there wasnt a Vt Clubsport in this morning at all... No car even like that!! I pretty much ran to the place and there it was parkd out the front..... lol

I imagine what they meant was that because it is so low the standard suspension angles have changed and there is not enough adjustment left to get the desired alignment. In the front end of a Commodore extra adjustment is gained with aftermarket adjustable strut tops and possibly even adjustable radius rods. The rear end will also need attention if it has been lowered with aftermarket suspension components that allow the correct alignment to be obtained.

brad cant do it as it to low he couldnt do my vt an a mates vx AGIT8D cos laser beams hit as of cars are to low . wa susspentions can do it at a expensive price an u gotta book in 3 weeks in advance. i got wilkinsons susspentions to do mine

I never thought of that, I thought 99% of the wheel alignment systems clamped on to the outside of the wheels so car height would normally be irrelevant to the operation of the testing equipment. You learn something new every day

i know in mandurah, beaurepairs are the only ppl that can do 20's, my mate got his 20 inch vault's back from there with a big gouge all way round the outside of rim, needless to say he wasnt happy and got his money back, and they payed for the buffing costs. so maybe try your local beaurepairs (not mandurah lol).

Guys I just used WA Suspension and I will say these blokes are great!!
I will reccommend them to anyone!!

Mate thats cool you mentioned your work but thats way too far for me to go.... I live in Rockingham, Im pissed i need to go to osbourne park to get it done. Thanks heaps anyways
