Default ...hhhey.

gday everyone...
thought id make a introduction thread even though ive allready started posting away!
my names Ross, im 20, and live in melbourne. some people might recognize my username off oldholden.com/fastlane/gmh-torana and other forums i go to..
ive got a HJ GTS thats been a project for a few years, and is almost finished now! bought it back when i was 18 for a couple grand.. just a tatty driver. after failing a roady, i went to fix up a few things (and as all projects go) spiraled out of control. ended up stripping it down to nothing and starting again, which has kept me poor for the last few years. ill prob start a thread here with a few pics, but heres one i took a couple days ago. just had the screens put in.

also have an aw11 Toyota mr2 which i fkn love.. but thats not so relevant here....

anyway, thats all!

Welcome RDS

the HJ sounds tough, but don't ignore the MR2

We're up for any grunty vehicle. it's just the ones that think their Excel with cannon muffler will beat all comers that create the predujice against the 4 bangers.

but, what's the specs on the HJ?

(I don't really care about the MR2 )

specs on the GTS? its an absolute weapon ..253/trimatic/2.78:1.. a fearsome combo! heheh.
itl get along allright. did it all as original as they're matching numbers/dates, and aslong as it sounds good eh! just built to cruise...
so one more pic, a recent-ish one of the engine bay. nice n tidy.

(and dont worry about the MR2 - million and one other forums for that car )

Welcome mate. I'm not a member on fastlane but I read your whole build thread was good. Looked the same as my car before you rebuilt and made it look flash, lots have people have told me to respray in yellow and your car makes me want to but now you've done it, no need for another one

id say a couple months or so? no hurry. needs all wiring done, then the dash can go in. then once it passes rego, the front lip, lowered springs n shocks, and other little things will go on. not much really.

but prob wont end up on the road till next year or something (hahah).. originally wanted it on the road for summer 06/07!
