hey guys i just bought myself a new v8 and i thought it was bout time i signed upto a good v8 site i know a few ppl on here but not many ,
names maria i currently have 3 v8s and 1 6 banger old school gtr tory which i would like to be a v8 also but still not sure if i can legally put a v8 in it.
so hope to meet a few of u eventually out on a cruise

G'day vlgirl, what's your quickest machine? I like the way you called the gts tory a banger. Is it an xu1/2? got the 77 Hz gts Ute here.

hey its just a lj gtr not an xu1 i got it 4 a pretty good score the poor little car was so run down !!
at the moment i would say the monaro is the quickest but i got to put it and the vg on a dyno or take them to willowbank to find out between the 2 which goes the hardest lol,
ur ute is hot!!!! i actually just sold a hq 350 styleside ute i loved that ute but i needed 2 concentrate on the tory !

Hey welcome to the site, its a great site and if you need any advice or help with anything in your cars im sure you will find the people here very helpfull.

Looks like you have some nice cars there post up some 1/4 mile times if you get em down there.

Yea she's alright, got a 308 Holden red w/oversized cam shaft in her. Needs a transmission, thinkin of puttin a 4sp manual in it - but I only really use it for cruisen.
Nothin wrong with lj's I bought an older 4cyl version w/opal motor in it for $50- once in Gippy. The guards were wrecked and it was miles from r/w. I ended up swapping it for a mobile phone and $50, it needed more time than I could be bothered with - different story if it were a 6cyl, but the block in it (not to mention the engine bay) wouldn't have been too small for the 6.
Torana's are sweet. Your lj a 2 or 4 door?

welcome aboard maria. im sure u will find the site very helpful. lots of usefull info around the place, and lots of people always will to hand out advice. how long u had the monaro for? i heard about the bomber the other day. thats gotta really suck. from the pic i saw, it doesnt look to good.

and u shouldnt haev sold the ute. that thing was hot

thanks pumba, i have had it since last thurs but i only picked it up last nite !! it had to get transfered from nsw , only sold the ute cos it was time 2 concentrate on the tory and we got a real good deal 4 it

yes my lj is a 2 door i will try puttin some pics up soon as i can .
