Default Hey all

Hey Hey!

I came across this forum when doing some research. Can't wait to get involved! At the moment there is no V8, my daily is a BA futura with a few mods. It makes 175.6 rwkw on petrol, take about 3kW off when running LPG. Mods include:

-Typhoon CAI/Upper air intake
- Pacemaker 4490 headers (street/non comp)
-3" Magnaflow cat
-XR6 T catback
-20% Underdrive
-Lower temp. thermostat
-CAPA custom tune

And other stuff like DBA 4000 rotors, 18" rims, lowered, tints and stereo. It's got plenty of go for weekly driving and is pretty comfortable (I cover a lot of km during the week). Heres a pic

About a year ago I started to get ideas about a project car. Either an older falcon (XY-XC with a 351) or holden (HQ-HZ, or maybe an LX torana. Probably with a stroked 308 but we'll see). My dream would be an XY or XB coupe, but I'll keep my options open. I very nearly bought an XC GXL, but fate stepped in and it got away. I'm not looking to buy something right now, as I'm getting married next year and am saving like crazy. So hopefully this time next year I can seriously hit the market.

I can blame my car-mad behaviour on my Dad, the first car I can remember is this, a 253 commo that he re-built from a wreck. Still one of the neatest VB-VKs I've ever seen

He's always regretted selling it, but he has a new toy now, a GTO with the 6L. Goes like stink!

Anyway, see you in the forums!
