Default another newie to the group

really great site about to start rebuilding my hq tunna still getting more parts already got 350 4 bolt block and injection anyone know much about pro topline heads.Brought a set 6 years old never been used still in "wax paper" 220 cc intake and 64cc exhaust flow 400 to 500hp,planimg a 383 stroker just starting 1/8 mile drags on the airstrip.

220cc heads are enormous, youll need them for the stroker. EFI is wise to with that port size...... Congrats.

Welcome to the club 350, sounds like the 383 will be a beast with those heads bolted on.

yeah i hope it will haul, i think traction might be a problem got a nine inch for the back end and turbo 350 just need srtoker kit and little extra cash just have to finish my daily driver a hj with vn v6 and auto first nearly done

? really are they?
A 220cc head on a SBC averages out to 1.8489" diameter when you back calc the maths. Not enormous, with a 30thou over bored 350 @ 6500rpm it equates to 298.45fps calculated average. Individually some areas will be faster and some slower.

G'day 350 tunna, welcome to the forums. I have found this to be a great place, you'll enjoy it. Just on a side note, is the injection in your avatar what you intend on using on your 383? Not being a smart arse or anything but that factory type set up will absolutely KILL your top end performance. Great for bottom end torque but no good up top. You may want to look at a different setup if you're after strong all round performance.

thinking about a stealth manifold or really open up the tpi manifold with joined runners and a 58 mm throttle body, ported manifold base or save my money and buy a stealthy probally cheaper from summit allready got 730 computer and map wiring.
