Default program for tech 2

I've got the interface to connect to my computer but does anyone have access to a copy of the tech 2 or TIS2000 program suitable for a VX to PC?
Willing to pay for CD/DVD time and postage.

doc i assume your talking about OBD?
to be honest, i have no idea what tech2 and TIS2000 is..
however, i have just orderd two RS-232 OBDII Devices for a customer,
they come with a heap of OBD programs,

* Scantool.net
* GM Mode 22 Scan Tool
* OBD Gauge for PalmOS and Pocket PC
* OBD Logger
* OBD-II ScanMaster
* OBD2 Scantool
* OBDII for ELM322
* pyOBD by Donour Sizemore for Mac OS x9+ and Linux
* RDDTC
* Real Scan
* ScanTest for Pocket PC
* wOBD

would any of them be of use?

Jason

The tech 2 is the computer the holden dealers use and the TIS200 (as far as I can work out) is the program for the Tech 2. I have the OBD interface. It's the same as the one for my Bora but I don't have a program suitable for the holden.

I'd appreciate a backup (if possible) of all of the above so I can play with them and see what I can do. Managed to get one from palmer performance yesterday but haven't had a chance to check it out. I think with that one you can increase the power via the ecu but not sure and I think it's only for ls1's. Must find time to check it out but probably won't be for a week or so. I've got an AMD in the garage I plug into. It's plenty fast enough to run these as well as have all my manuals on.
Thanks

doc

maaaate be very carefull, tis2000 or tis2web are dealership only software from wat i can gather, wen i did some time at holden the product cd's were guarded heavily and only 1 person had access to them, plus, depending on wat u try and do, most functions on a tech2 are locked and u wont be able to acess them without the tech2 uploading ur vin number and getting approval from gm over the web in america, very sketchy process and u must have a dealer code

Probably bad wording on my behalf as I don't really know the names of programs that are suitable for the VX apart from those. I'm not really fussed what I get as long as I can do the basics with the computer.

Jason.

Thanks mate. That would be awesome. PM me with bank account details when you're ready as I don't want anyone to be out of pocket. Or you could go to megaupload, upload it there and send me the link.

I work for a company that had the Tech 2 but it was for Isuzu Trucks... With the Program you can get in to see the Details but you cannot change anything without passwords.. I assume this is the same across the range... Handy program though..
