With how hard they are to find these days, I don't think $800 is out of the question for a virgin 308 block.

How much is he willing to pay for one?

just sold 2 complete QT prefix tri block 308's (unknown bore size) one went on ebay for $770, the other I sold to Qboat for $450.
maybe I should have pulled a head off and checked the bore size eh?

forgot to mention he's from newcastle. dunno if he's willing to travel or can organise a courier. i'll find those answers over the course of the weekend.

didn't realise i'd envoke such discussion, but its definitely good.

and yes 800 bucks would b a f**king joke if it wasn't so sad

thankyou,

40 thou with flattops, I told you, if I had fixed the air leak he had and tuned it there would have been no need to put the new motor in for him... I think he was just sick of it not running properly.
I finished his car and after he gets a zorst done (tuesday I hear) it should run fine.
I got my monaro running again yesterday, got that dizzy in and it goes great!!
that motor should be fine I reckon.
Ash.
