Hey Guys and Gals, there is a new monthy cruise starting out in the outer eastern suburbs, hopefully this cruise will turn out to be as big as the old Croydon Cruise night was.

Here are the details courtesy of the ESC web site:
Car show from 6pm. Held at Knox City Shopping Centre (O-Zone). Enter off Burwood Hwy near tower. Capital City Blvd, drive through to rear. Melways Ref: 64 A12. To be held every 2nd Tuesday of each month until March '07. Gold coin donation to enter. Hoon laws apply. All cars are welcome.

I'm hanging for this event! Will be there for sure. The organisers have done their very best to try and get pro-active police support for this, so fingers crossed all goes to plan. Only one way to find out, so it looks like I will be the guinea pig

From what I was told, they have written "Hoon Laws Apply" on the flyer to indicate that if any idiots try to wreck this by driving like tools, or turning their tyres (burnouts), they will be pounced on, by the police and/or the organisers. It's meant to be a car show and a good social night where all the real car enthusiasts can catch up and talk sh*t for a few hours, and admire some nice machinery.

I'm sick of these things always being wrecked by the idiots, so let's hope this turns into a kick-ass night!

hopefully they wont have to change it to pre 84 cars only like the hoppers crossing meet has to try and stop the younger "hoons" wrecking it...last weeks event seemed to work a treat except for the fact they turned away a lot of awesome late model cars on the night..They also had 4 police officers walking around chatting to everyone which was great to see and the one i spoke to absolutely loved the event..If knox can getas big as hoppers or the old croydon market nights it will be great!!

It was a great turnout considering the weather, some real tough cars. From what I saw there was no Cops or Hoon action which was cool. I think this will become a monthly must for me as with better weather it will only get better.

Hi Guys
My name is Andrew (iso) i am the preseident of southern streeters running this cruize night.
It is great to see so much enthusiasm towards it. It has been long over due for all of us car enthusiasts to have a meeting place to chat and see each others cars.
Please be aware we are not turning anyone away unless they behave in a way that will jepardize the event for all. We donate the gates donations to a charity in the knox district for kids who need help. We presented them with a $1200 cheque last night at our meeting after 2 cruize nights so all you who attend are helping in a big way. thank you, we hope to see you all there at the next one on the 9th of january.

for those interested we are holding a dyno day at casey automotive in cranbourne
it will be held on January the 20th 2007
starts at 9am , all welcome to either come and have a look or participate.
$40 per car, there will be some trophies for best kw's outright and aspirated . we will be running a sausage sizzle and drinks on the day
Should be a big day with cars always sitting on display waiting for their turn to look at.

The Knox cruise night was on again last night and it was a good turnout with some very tough cars. I went with my farther in-law in his SS Hatch, he really enjoyed himself with people talking to him about the car and all the complements he received.
