Yeah was always a good show until you left DECA, piggys make it tuff to enjoy yourself cruisin Shep.

As a whole, sounds like Shep is obviously sick of the show Les??

Been looking for another venue - more entrant/spectator friendly??

Go to winton les, take all the cars that dont go to easternats any more, pick up the cars that stopped going to shep because of the orchestrated response from police thats killing the culture and lets cut sick on the racetrack!

Les, remember the Performance Street Car Shootout held at Winton? We stayed in the army barracks at Benalla from memory...what a great weekend.

A terrific alternative!

OH those were the days,Winton Shootout was a Great weekend for us Entrants as was the Australian Street Machine Nationals at Calder but small spectator numbers sent both events broke which was one of the reasons why Springnats was born, One of the things that we studied all those years ago was the events within a community were the ones that lasted.
The two surviving communities are Shepparton and Canberra and they to have had their negitives over the years yes we have looked at moving Springnats to another venue as well as another time of the year but that is our absolute final thing we will do until all avenues have been tested.
As many know we the organisers of both Springnats and Autofest events are Street Machiners and Street Rodders at heart and we will continue to deliver what we beleive is the right ingrediants to our entrants.
Count how many Street Events are held within a community away from race tracks with driving events and im sure you will be surprised.
Yes you will SEE some Major Changes to Springnats this Year and many will be Shocked
More To Come SOON!

Wildfly, freinds may say one thing but i am telling you another, our insurance says that if an entrant wants to participate at our events that they must have third party property insurance.
I dont give a f--- what your freinds say thats the rules and thats it.
Your car does not have to be regoed but it must have third party insurance and if you or anyone can obtain that in another manner then we would look at this, but past experience this has only been obtained by people with professonal teams such as Jack Daniels Racing and Victor Bray etc or with currently regoed cars
