Calder Park Drags, Friday Night the 3/8/07
Weather permitting, I will be taking the SS out to Calder too see what she will run, I also believe Tony will be taking out the XY. Who else is interested in coming along?

Yeah I was keen to go, thought about getting the car ready tonight, but then saw the forecast and didn't wanna take the chance, so I'll wait for another week! Good luck though guys if the weather does hold up for you both.

I've talked to Tizzle and we will give this week a miss also, bloody weather hey Tone hahaha. So Andrew and Brett what do you guys say to next Friday if the weather is better?

if you guys have internet..
you can check if Calder is open or not by visiting their website. www.motorsport.com.au They have a set of xmas tree lights that count down and then tell you if its on or off for the the drags!! very handy so you dont get out there and waste your time!! T. |

When I last raced there in May, I first checked that website friday morning and it said drags were off. I was spewing as I'd worked on the car all week. I ended up ringing calder park and asking if the drags were on and she said yes they were they just hadn't changed the website from last week.....

the site is working a lot better now..i watched it throughout the day and it was on until about 2pm and changed to off so i think they are on the ball now..
Weather for this Friday looks all good so far so fingers crossed we can all hit the blacktop this week! |
