Default aussiev8 cruze

Hey guys.
Had aussiev8 forum done, or thought about doing our own cruize/motorkana day samewhere to all get together. if it was done in each state, and then possibly down the line do a interstate weekend away or something.
we would need our sticker tho hehe (hint hint)

if he can get some good numbers and prefured dates, i dont mind helping organise. any ideas on what we can do or where??? "mark" do you think there is any chance of finding somewhere we can set up our own motorkana/time trial track, or is it going to be too hard to find location and insurance issues???
id be looking prob 2 months at least before cruise to make sure car is back on the road and any glitches fixed

I have access to the hill climb track at Morwell. I could organise a day there for Aussie V8 only. Only thing is the track is being torn up by the Yallourn mine at the end of the year. BrownHJ and ProVK are very familiar with the ins and outs of the track.

bloody power stations, taking our roads, now our only track

mark are they replacing it with anything? if i remember correctly, there was a plan published in the express last year for a new track. but i didnt realise they are ripping up the hillclimb

That would be awsome mark. a good way of getting more of our guests to sign up with aussiev8 too, if they knew they could get supervised access to things like that
is there a specific month you could organise somthing like that.
also i know its a big ask but is there any where the cops train which they would let a club do a motorkana day, knowing that it is supervised and off the streets rather than people tearing up the neighbourhoods???
the hill climb sounds awsome tho dude. will have to work on that for sure!

Sho

The police have a training track at Attwood near Tullamarine north of Melbourne. Impossible to get it for private use. I tried to get use of the skid pan for my oldest when I was a police driving instructor but no go. It's all to do with public liability and their not willing to chance it.
