Default For Sale W.A: '92 Honda CBR 250RR, Excellent condition.

G'day fellas, I'm gettin rid of my bike to upgrade to a 600 (or 1000), Was gona just trade it in but I need to get a bit more money together so I'll advertise untill then and see what happens.

I bought it in March this year, from over east (Sumoto www.sumoto.com.au). Just to give some info, They re-spray, fully service, and get it ready for licensing. So paint is brand new, new tyres, new brakes, everything on it is good.

Since I've had it I've put a Roo racing pipe on, and done an Oil/Filter change. I got the bike with 28k kms on the clock, it now has 30k exactly.

I'm chasing around $6500.

Yeah I did have major problems with them, they ****ed me around hard and if I had the chance I'd petrol bomb their buisness. But they sell me a bike that looks and rides brand new.

I'm looking at buying a bike at the moment, but you're a bit far away - I'm in Melbourne.

I think Jimma was referring to the fact that they sell lemons. They buy containers of parts from Japan, bang them together and then flog them off. I've heard directly from people who have had their tanks painted without having been prepped first (dirt and stickers under new coat), and I heard from a bloke on netrider that needed a full rebuild a week after he bought it. Having said that though, a good mate of mine bought a '94 CBR RR from Sumoto and apart from having to have a major service within a month of owning it and having to replace the chain and sprocket, he's had no troubles, so maybe you lucked out.

If that's the case, then I defantly lucked out mate, I've had no problems at all apart from having to change to spark plugs when I first got it due to it not starting. As soon as it got of the truck and it didn't start, (after 3/4 months of them ****ing me around on when they're going to send it to me), I rang the **** up and threated to fly over there and bash the living shit outa him, I threatened his assistant who first answered the phone, I was ready to kill the bloke.

But after I did the plugs it started and it hasn't had a problem since. Although I've lost the only key to it and have to get a new one cut, So the barrel is coming out tomorrow.
