Default 6/71 Blown Hg Kingswood

Not mine but was chatting to the owner today, id love to own it but cant bring myself to swap the HQ, although im still thinking hard about it.

So thought some one else might be interested

Quote:
1971 HG KINGSWOOD
bought it of fkn10 of this site as a stock betsy 161 3speed on the tree. it had rust around front and rear screens and a side swip down one side and it had its fair share of surface rust.
in 6 weeks it has had a little bit of a over haul.
full respray in factory kasmire white, jams and all. resprung benchy, and then also,, converted to brand new supercharged 350 chev.
350 chev ,. 4 bolt mains, forged pistons and h beam rods and cast heads.
671 weiand supercharger( ordered bds but this is what they had)
twin 650dp blower carbs
full race powerglide and convertor
31 spline 9 inch with full spool
hq brakes all round,
3 1/2 inch moly tail shaft
ally radiator as well as other goodies here and there
but hey. it was built from crap to this in 6 weeks so i am pretty happy with it.
it made 417hp@wheels at 4200rpm . will make 550 at 5800rpm but ran out of fuel. literally tank empty on dyno.. and it was a bastard pushing it off..
14inch white walls
benchy, sunvisor , hubbies, sweet cruiser
all new hq brakes all round.

$25 000 OR MAY SWAP..
THIS THING IS BUILT TO POWERSKID.. BUILT FOR POWERCRUISE.. WILL STAND OUT ...
WONT HOOK UP WITH THIS SETUP..

Nice play on words 8/71, being August 1971, with an 6-71 blower on it!!

how can it be an August 71 car? my coupe is July 71. HQ's were built after HG's as far as I know... nice pick up though mate, I would say it is a typo.
