Its an excellent nick, here some details:
308 + .020 L34 spec ported and polished heads, LT1 springs Brock spec Holden manifold Yella Terra roller rockers Crow cam for mid range torque Brand new Holley 650 double pumper, larger jets HQ radiator with single thermo fan Twin 2 inch exhaust system with chrom tail pipes Reconditioned M21 gearbox Ford 9 inch diff 2.75 gears with LSD and 290mm disc brakes New 100% unmarked 15 inch performance challenger alloys with Yokohama 225's all around Hoppers stoppers front disc brake conversion, slotted 295mm rotors and PBR twin piston calipers with braided lines. Front and rear anti sway bars, new springs at each end. New bushes. Front shockers are Koni 4 way adjustables currently on their second hardest setting. Rears are Pedders. Full fibreglass A9X bodykit blacked out for a period Group C touring car look, SS steering wheel. The body of the car is the factory chamois paint colour was resprayed before i bought the car and polishes up real nice and is in excellent condition. It was a 4.2 litre V8, auto SL from the factory I have the original owners guide book to go with it. There are loads of new parts that have transformed this Torana. I bought it with 187,000km on the clock. Since the drive train upgrade mentioned below Ive put 3000km of enjoyable trouble free motoring on the clock. The car has been regularly street driven at least a couple of times a week. It is reliable, powerful, handles and stops really well, much better then the original A9X ever did. All the hard work to make this a great touring and performance car that it is, has been done. The interior is the original chamois vynl, back seat is fine and split free but there is one seem split on the front passenger seat and as for the drivers side it would need to be recovered. I drive the car with a Monza sports seat seen in the photo. The carpet is very good. The dash has an SS tacho and aftermarket oil and temperature gauges have been intergrated into the dash. The body is very straight, there is a bit of rust on the inside of the drivers side door hinge which can't be seen from the outside of the car and doesnt cause any problems opening or shutting the door but nevertheless I have a 100% rust free replacement door to go with the car if you want to turn it into a trailer queen show car or keep it as a spare as I have done. $24,800 Adelaide (08) 8265 1800 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
