Hi guys,

The time has come to part with the old girl - my wife's business venture needs a bit more of a kick along - so the HJ's gotta go!

The buildup thread is attached, but here it is in a nutshell:

1975 HJ Kingswood - brown with tan interior.

Runs 355 Holden stroker, COME crank, ACLs, VN rods, tickled heads, COME 462 cam, HE sump, 9.4:1, Redline Hiwinder singleplane manifold, 700d/p, HEI, PH5275 pipes, twin 3in stainless exhaust, redback mufflers, X-pipe.

Car hasn't yet been on chassis dyno to fully optimise the combination, so maybe theres more to be found with carb and HEI fiddling.

Aeromotive 4 port 13202 reg, braided -8 full return fuel system, Bosch F5201 filter, currently running VL Turbo fuel pump as 984 died, Competition Engineering fuel tank sump with -10 outlets.

Stage 2 kitted TH350 (without kickdown - operates manually), 3200rpm Taipan convertor, B+M cooler, Pro Ratchet shifter, fresh new Precision Driveshafts built tailshaft

Drouin Diffs built 3.55:1 Romac minispooled Salisbury

Pedders 90/10s and 6cyl springs in front, Pedders comfort ride shocks and slightly lowered Pedders new rear coils

Sleeper 14x7 with 225/65r14 Hankooks, and 14x6 with 185/75r14 Hankooks all with HZ Kingswood hubcaps (bolt mounted on front)

New brake pads on front - otherwise brakes fine.

New TruFit brown carpet and carpeted kickpanels, new dash carpet, new stainless exterior sunvisor, new door locks, interior pretty good with Autometer tach and Pro Ratchet.

Original bumpers with overiders

Has Victorian Club Rego which isn't transferrable, and I live in Traralgon which is 1.5hrs east of Melbourne.

Paint looks great from a distance but ideally needs to be done. Adds to the sleeper look in my opinion!

Thats a shame mate, if it would fit itd be at my place..At least your doing it for a good reason, and if the wife gets rich, remind her how you kicked her along, and you should begin a new build post haste...

Wasnt going to - but might stick the HJ on ebay tonight. Just dont want to waste too much time selling it.

After attempting to sell for a short period ... I got out the spanners and yanked the stroker, th350 etc from the old girl. Pulled off the manifold, carb, HEI, fuel system and tank - and sold those all off. So her business is all funded up and going like a train.

Put the injection back on the 355, nice Commodore sump and pickup and she's sitting pretty in the VP - not sure if I've mentioned that - but bought a clean as fark 5L, th700, irs, abs, recaro, VN GrpA wheel, LSD, twin cat Hi Tech headed VP cheap and now it has a new heart and the good th350. Just finalising the little 5min things. Doing a new auto gear indicator for the console to look factory. Conversion went well after doing the research.

Anyway, pulling the 5L down for a freshen, bolt it and the th700 in the HJ, shorten the shaft, BLN355 has done a neat loom for me (awesome job as normal!), so she'll be injected, 4sp auto, 3.55's - nice!!! Then possibly sell her, and put a Flowcraft or COME manifold on the stroker and a HPF tune...or keep the HJ. See how we go.
