me and the car used to have an agreement, it would be nice to me, if i be nice to it.
i have a tendancy to look after it, it gets a bath every weekend, a massage every now and than, i dont thrash it.
and it decided to screw me in the arse, a few months back it had a gearbox rebuild, the dual mass clutch had a shit fit in the extreme heat the other day. the throttle body had to get all cleaned out.
i took it into the doctors the other day, and got it back all healthy. YAY
today, went to replace the ****ing aerial, with an electric one.
well what a stupid mistake that was.
everything went up shit creek. the bloody female arial plug got caught behind the glove box, had to remove the whole ****ing dash pad to get it back. the relay for the arial was being a bitch and turnd out to not be compatable with my radio, so had to re wire the whole thing, putting an arial switch in, put the whole frigging car back together, to realise that the bloody arail cable had come unplugged, i cable tied them up behind the dash pad..
out it all comes again.
i've cracked.
the car is in hundreds of peices.
i've given up. it's going back togerher and its going.
its a lovley car, but me and my fidling with it dont match
i have everyone around me telling me not to sell it
but i give up
i have friends that sneak out to partys and get drunk on friday nights... well i sneak out to my shed, to have a few drinks and fiddle with my car
it's time to join my mates.

rant over... finishing rum and going to bed

That seriously was unexpected. Somehow I don't want to see it go.

yer i know what you mean jason i went through that stage last year, i was coming up to my exam period and i came down with the flu sick as a dog and just could not be ****ed driving this thing, its got average brakes and steering, and i just wanted something i could get in drive and be done with it. effortless is the word that comes to mind. nearly snatched it and bought a VY exec but i got through it and didn't sell it. its your decision in the end but come on you doesn't want to get pissed on a friday night i chase some skirt around. You've got to have some fun mate your only a teenager once, you can tinker on your car on a friday night when you've been married 30 years and got nothing better to do.

end rant

i had a good talk to some people today
a mate threatened to remove my ability to have kids if i sell it
had a good talk to the car (jeeze i must sound like a total wank)
decided that it'll stay for the time being, unless the right offer comes up.
it will not be split up.
i have edited the first post a little bit.

sell the bloody thing.

You've done one carputer, put another one into the next one...

Carry your mods wisely..

If you cant afford things to go wrong with it,don't keep it,otherwise you'll dig yourself a deeper hole.

My 2 cents.

Scott.

i have more important things to spend my time on for the time being.
