My mate has a factory '68 HK Monaro GTS 186S 6cyl/4spd he's thinking about selling but he needs to get some idea of what it's worth.
He's owned it for the last 18yrs & is the second owner of this number matching car which has only done 77890 miles. It has been panel & painted in the original red/burgandy colour but needs repainting again; the subframe was removed & blasted before painting & the motor, box & diff have been fully reconditioned to standard specs. It has all new door & window rubbers & it has a new hoodlining. It has the factory plastic hubcap/wheeltrims & the original interior/steering wheel etc. It's driveable. He also has a set of genuine XU-1 Strombergs on the manifold which he's thinking of selling also. Any ideas anyone... 100k, 200k??? Thanks.

i dont know mackeb, id be inclined to think that a 6cyl monaro would be just as pricey as a v8... considering how many ridgy didge ones would be left, think about how many would have been converted to v8

Yeah not anywhere near 100k, 50k at most at the moment. **** I'm spewin, I had a REALLY nice HT when I was 19 as a daily, 350 and all, sold it... Had another HT, original 6 cyl GTS that I was going to rebuild after my HK Prem was done, ended up selling it before they skyrocketed to finish off the Prem quicker, gee that was a smart move... Knew I'd have to pay more to get another one but not as much as they are now..

Ok, thanks people. He's also got a 6cyl HK Prem original mint condition, a factory 307 HK? Prem, a factory 350 HQ Statesman & a Brougham.
The 307 Prem is a little rugged but all there & easily rebuildable, the Brougham is very rugged but all there too & the Statey is getting an alloy headed 540 transplant in about 4 months time.
