We bought her as an almost complete car from NSW (Shepparton actually), then brang it home for a detailed inspection.... Ended up stripping it right back and re-building it from the ground up. My god it was almost held together with zip ties!!! Scary stuff! We did the whole re-build in less than 3 months and had it back on the road for the first of the summer cruises!
It's only mild really with a 302 Windsor, but makes some decent torque even tho we've never really had it on the dyno... would love to strap a roots style blower to it tho, would be mad! John Keen looks after it so it's been in good hands since it's re-birth And Dattoman, dont think you need to convert to RHD anymore...? cos it's old enough to not worry about..? but dont quote me

You could get it engineered I have no doubt. We strap a blower on to a 454 and smack it into a T-bucket. It's like having a blown big block on a ping pong ball and we get them registered! Bearing in mind our states rego laws are the toughest in the country without a doubt. So a RHD hotrod should get through without a drama.
If you want some more info then get in contact with our club http://www.geocities.com/sarodandcustomclub/index1.html, the page is a bit old but our club is the largest financially stable club in the country and our members are board members of the registration board, so fire an e-mail off if ya want any help with anything

I'm more into customs than rod's but I love em just the same. The 54 plymouth will be a sled when finished. 4" chop with the rear window layed down. Front screen section removed to make way for a split screen. Frenched headlights and still undecided on the tail lights. Shaved handles and poppers for a smooth look. Was going to go the desoto grill but it's been done to death so going to make a custom. slammed on bags to finish the look and flat black with red smoothies, baby moons and whitewalls.
Fun fun and a bit of work. |

It's getting the time to play with my toys, when you have customers car's getting in the way. But yes, I will provide pictures and progress shot's and perhaps a tutorial on chopping, sectioning, frenching, shaving and smoothing etc etc. Custom metal fab and spraypainting/ Airbrush graphics is what I do. If people have questions I'm happy to help when I have time
