Default SVZ commodore stock stereo issue

does anyone know how to over come the volume restriction that is on the vz commodore sound system, you just cant get it real loud?

i think this came factory to result distortion from the stock speakers,i'd say you'll have to talk to holden themselves,or get a new unit and a DIN Shelf to go underneath it.

Yep there is an easy way around it.

When you turn on the car, in the digital readout below the speedo etc, it goes through a system check. After this it tells you wheter or not you would like to configure some system options. I think you press mode - but it tells you anyway.
Keep pressting mode until you come to the volume distortion limited, then use the arrow keys to switch it off/on.

There is also heaps of other functions you can mess around with too.
