Default power loss

when i crank my tunes up my amp turns off and my subs stop working, but then i lower the volume and it all comes back on again. Earth is fine as is every other connection its just when i pump it. Amp and subs are all new. its a mono blick pioneer amp and 2 12 inch pionner subs in a ported box.

sometimes the amp stays on and the subs wont work. nothing wrong with the deck or any other speaker though. Do i need another car batt or someting to give it bit more power ?
i mean monoblock amp

uhmm strange. it sounds like the amp might be cutting out.
items come with warranties for a reason.

i'd take it back from where you bought it and get them to check it out, you might need a capacitor if its draining too much power and its cutting out. but your lights would dim and you'd kindof know it.

do they just cut out?
what are the power ratings RMS on the amp's and subs? do you have it bridged?

Yeh i just ripped it all apart and re wired the lot. Also mounted the subs and amp so i don't loose them while driving. Seems to work fine. I also got a new batt for the car so im guessing either the wiring job was dodgy, or the batt was not enough power. either way it goes real well now =) got told to turn it down from across the road.

i had a problem like that i;m running 2 kicker 14inch square subs, kenwood 6x9's and kenowwod 6" fronts. off the same amp it kept cutting out too. so i bought me a copasitor and tha stoped it. just sometimes the little battery can't keep up. (btw i bought a new amp now too so i have a mono block for the subs, and one for the speakers.)

the best place to get copasitor or however they are spelt probably WOW sight and sound. if you have one near you.
