Default Kenwood KRC 403 Headunit Question

Hey all,

I'm wondering if any stereo nuts can help!

Ive got a KRC 403, and it is giving me the shits!

Its a great unit other than the following problem!

The tuner only tunes to even frequencies. its somehow set to "Course tuning" mode in that it'll pick 100.0 100.2, 100.4, 100.6 etc. ( it may be set to odd numbers cause i get 96.9 and 104.9 but you get the idea!)

What is annoying me is that i cant tune in .1 frequencies and when weve been to the drive ins, the frequency is of course one i cannot tune to.

Ive got the user manual, but this doesnt help!
I'm wondering if anyone has access to a service manual or knows anyone who could help to fix this problem!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
Tiny.
