bigger is usualy better,, i like your taste in music for a young bloke not bad,,,a bit pushed for room in the one tunner but a good set of 6x9's in ya doors will sound quite good but will need to do some mods to your doors and skins but werth the efort if ya not tryin to keeep it original then mount some mid range speekers an tweeters all in the doors and ya will get quite a nice sound ,, need that enclosed space for the bass.
i have seen some subbs that go under ya seats ,dont know wat there like but werth a closser look,, if ya get seriouse give us a bell an i'll see wat i got , got a few spare bits an peices, amps an woofers an a few 6x9's
just got rid of an 18 inch 800w woofer ,,was a bit big for me pv haha cant buy em any more was a shame to part with it ,was new but i got wat i wanted for it ,another amp
ps im going to make some custom door skins for mine so let ya know how they go

a set of decent splits would be able to do a ute on their own but if you want 2 sets of speakers id go 6.5" splits in the doors with the tweeters on the dash, a pair of 6" coaxials in the back and a small 4 channel amp to run them

Fusion,

You can get a hold of fusion 8" 6" 4" componentry,
you will not need a sub, i garuntee it, with those componentry and a qaulity amp,
go to a reputable car sound mob and investigate fusion and i would reccomend a cadence amplifier.

You get what you pay for. . .
