Default deck turning off

hey.. more stereo problems..
when i turn my steering wheel, and sometimes when im driving straight my deck just turns itself off then starts up again.. but sometimes my indicators dont blink when i turn either..
and if my deck doesnt cut out, my sub and amp will..

i dont know what it could be..
i installed all my stereo so it wasnt installed professionally.. but its been doing it since i wired it up.

but on a serious note, i'm going to say you haven't earthed something properlly.
OR
and its very likely when you've joined the wires you haven't sealed it, and its hitting either another wire of the body of the car causing a short.

how did you wire up the ignition on the headunit? did you just take it from a cigarette lighter in the car? or did you connect it up to your ignition?

i connected it up to the cigarette lighter.. on my old deck it was wired direct to the igniton and didnt do it, but i couldnt get any power from the same place this time..
ill check the earth tomorrow after work.. and see how it goes..
but it only does it when i turn the steering wheel and rarely when i hit a bump

could just be a loose wire somewhere near the steering column?
maybe if its when the indicator is on its shorting something out?
i'd say loose wire buddy, make sure if you connect to wires together you use terminals and then tape them up, or if you don't have terminals, solder them together then tape them up.

Don't tape up wires. Use solder and a bit of heat shrink. Doesn't cost much and its very easy to use.

the amp and sub cutting out could be the remote wire or RCA's have had the insulation nicked off and are arking out on something. the same thing happened in my brothers car it was arking out on the seat hinge.
