Default High End Audio Combination

G'day guys,i'm going to save about 3 grand for a high end audio combo,i already got dvd and tv's,just needs speakers amps sub/s.

anyone got any tips they can give me for a good setup,i'm semi audio minded, just need someone to show me the light with top end audio gear and some quiet outstanding setups someone may have had in the past,i would need model #'s too if i could.
info muchly appreciated.
Cheers
Scott

spend as much as you can afford on a decent set of interior speakers. go an alpine digital amp and some Mb Quart speakers. their discus series have never failed to dissapoint. something like that... and you wont NEED subbies. but you can always add one in if you still need your panels shaken off at a later stage.

btw... 3 grand isnt high end. its not budget... but definitely not high end. high end is like some wankers who put like 10K into a crappy rice rockt. but 3k is probably more than what you should spend on a car stereo, trust me... ive been there and done that.

spend it on the engine

just my personal feelings... dont take em too seriously ay

yeah i didnt see the part about 3 k so i agree with hombz actually,

alpine amp and some mb's for a budget of 3k.

even digital alpine amp and some alpine dddrive series speakers will go alright.

my suggestion of audison and hertz / focal will blow 3k to pieces

The fusions are not too flash, the solobarics are a killer sub. Spend the money on Dynamat (it's not sexy but it will make your system sound 10x better) a Jaycar 4 x 150WRMS digital amp and some 6.5 Focal or Hertz splits for the front. Then bridge the rear channels on the amp and fit 1 12in sub in a sealed enclosure in the boot and it will sound freakin awesome. Remember that the quality of the install makes more difference than the quality of the componants though. I'd help ya out with it but you live a bit far away
