Default Subs In VS Ute

Im getting right into this whole ute thing now... still dont own one yet

however.. i was looking through some old threads.. and found this pic of a H? ute.. anyhow.. anyone who has experience with the vg/vp/vr/vs utes... would it be possible to do pretty much that.. with a set of 12" as i already own them... and just bought a 600w 4ch amp... so what this bloke has done is perfect.. nd thats what i want to do with mine...... when i get it..
so pretty much, my question is that would it be possible to get two full size 12" subs in there... and how has that been done? and whats on the other side of the subs?

i was gunna do something similar with my one tonner, when i had it. as for the VG-VS utes, you would have to check to see if there is enough space behind the seats. coz in the HQ-HZ utes there was a fairly deep recess down towards the base of the seats.

so I'd say get some measurements of the recess in a VG-VS ute, and see if your subs would fit in, failing that you could look into the Pioneer shallow mount subs

in the VG-VS utes there is no recess, instead wat u can do, is lift up the plate in the front of the tray, and if u still have the original 55ltr fuel tank u can custom make a box to sit next to it in this area, i have a dual voice coil MTX 12 inch in mine, in the cab floor behind the seats there are 4 holes in the wall with covers over them, remove them and ur sub is ported strait into the caB

I had a VS ute with the sub next to the fuel tank. It was great, since there is limited room in the cab. Unfortunately I didn’t keep the measurements for it, but im sure if you did a google search you can find some. Good luck

This is one that I followed which I found off the net.........from memory one of the dimensions is out 20mm, and its internal dimensions. Also, here's a couple of pics of another setup.

Ok guys,
i know i can physicly fit two 12"s in there, with a modified version of that box in the daigrams up there, but is there an issue with putting two subs really close to eachother on a right angle to eachother?
also does anyone have any tips in regards to building boxes?
im planning 16mm MDF, wood screws piece to piece, with silicon sealing it all up..
anyone suggest anything different?
cheers.
