Default engineering my lc

hey just wanting a straight answer if its possible to get a lc 4 door engineered in nsw with a 308 cause rang the engineer nd he said u cant do it so i done my own calculations from the rta site which is original tare mass x 4.82 in cc it gives me 4771.8 cc which is obviously too small and im goin off the tare mass the rta gave me which is 990kg but ive seen it done even on 2 doors so im stumped , so if any 1 can help would be much appreciated thanks

what the heaviest model in the range and work off that.also original weight x .294 or x .333 for an independant chassis.hope this helps
