Default cragar S/S mags

can i fit a set of 15 x 7's to my HQ ute ?

reason i ask, is that i read a rumor somewhere that said it's illegal to fit wheels to a vehicle where the wheels used slots and not holes for the wheel nuts or studs to fit in

i know, crazy, but it got me wondering

We still get away with them over this side of the pond because they are factory slotted, not some backyard job. Also note that the Cragars require the right size large mag washer to correctly locate on the little knobs (for want of a better word) and centre the wheel. I know that doesn't answer your question but maybe relevant information.

The Cragars in 15 x 7 are legal for your car but not in a multifit with the slots. You must have the proper PCD for them to be legal. The centre hub fit must also be correct because you would be placing all the strain on the studs and not the hub.

Not trying to disagree with you but if the wheels are correctly installed the hub will take the load regardless - the wheel studs and nuts clamp them together as one assembly, there is no sideways load on the studs.
