This might be stupid but i forget. Can you have torana headers threw the gards on the street, like lx406 had in the green torry.
Also a engine plate? And one more what is the fine for having a torana with 6cly reg but have a unengineered chev, nine inch and lots more in it, in VIC. I dont have Nos. |

engine plate "should" be ok provided you can prove it sufficent to carry the engine weight and youd need a bushed setup, not solid mounted like a racecar.
headers thru guards "should" be ok, just about every v8 eh/ej has that setup and get passed. sorry i cant be more help. |

i'm not convinced about the legalities of the up and over headers. I had them on my hatch, but that car hardly ever saw the road, and it was unregistered in the end. My concern is about the holes in the guard making the structure of the car weaker, and the pipes themselves going way to close to the front wheels.
Speak to an engineer if you are attempting to get the car all legal. |
