Default Out of date racing harness

Ive got a saas 5 point racing harness that im selling, its brand new never been used but its out of date. so that means no competition use, does that also mean its not road worthy also?

ANY out of date harness can't be used in any CAMS
sanctioned event...doesn't matter what level
of motor sport...club,state or Utes its not allowed
the scrutineers will bounce you

road use?

it have an AS sticker?

Sounds like a sweet scam, is there no one who can re certify in Aus?

As far as I know, if the tag is still on, you can use it on the road. But as Smitty said, not for racing.

Last time I got pulled over in Vic I was in a CAMS approved rally car and found out the hard way that if there is no Aust Standards Label (most aircraft buckle harnesses wont have them) then you get done for not wearing a seat belt. This was a good few years ago but can't imagine that they have eased up on safety laws. No matter how ridiculous they seem. Cheers.

Yeh that sounds about right, It only has the SFI 16.1 spec label on it. no ADR complient or Australian Standards labels on it.
