I was wondering if i take the air box out of my vl and make a steel bracket to support the pod filter and tubing to the body, could i have the pod fiter on with out a box around it and still be legal? Thanks

i know in SA that would suffice, but why? it would be still sucking in warm air, why dont you just run some 40mm flexible conduit from the engine side of your filter box down to the grills in your front bumper and just get cold air and the ramming effect may even improve your performance

okay cheers, i was going to make up a sheet metal boxing around the pod filter and run a 2 and half inch pipe out to the bumper, just wanted to see what my limits were. so running pipe and all that is legal?
