Default Meons and Fog lights.

I fully apologise if a thread like this has been already started but i would just like to know...

I'll start off with the neon lights first... I'm looking at putting a neon blue light under the front grill below the bumper facing out or up on a separate switch and i was wondering whether i could do it and also drive with it on at all??? Also looking at put blue neons under the seats in the inside of the car i was wondering whether i could do that too???

The other thing i would like to know as well is the fog lights on the bottom of the bumper as they come fitted to all the new cars these days i was wondering whether you can drive with them on during the night when it's not foggy or anything??? I usually turn them on during the day when i'm driving with the park lights on so there not as bright during the day... Also i put them on when there is really really heavy rain when you cant see two feet in front of you...

It would be interesting in what the answers come back from this...

Why it's only gonna be on the front grill and inside the car under the seats or dashboard...

Believe me... people will stick the 'homo' or 'ricer' tag on anyone with neons, dont do it.

There was another thread about this, it got locked because the person who started it didn't ask for people's opinions on neons...

You can have the wanky ricer neons if you want but can't use them while you're moving.

As for the fog lights, I believe there has been a recent change in this one in VICTORIA. (havent been at work for over 8 weeks) I don't know about other states As far as I know, (and I could be wrong) the change is that you can't use front fog lights now unless it's actually foggy. Perhaps LX406 can check up on this as I don't go back to work for almost 2 weeks. Then all the mexicans on aussieV8 know what the go is.
As you're in WA, I suggest you give your local police traffic branch a buzz and ask. You can be anonymous if you want.

up in Godzone, you can't have any external lighting with a blue colouring, unless you are an emergency vehicle.

unsure as to what the actual rules with neons and stuff are.......
never checked
don't care

Maybe we should change the title of this thread to "Hey let's all give PBR shit because he likes something we don't"

I feel for ya bud, there's always somebody ready to pick you to pieces for being different

Last time I checked nobody asked for your opinion, the question was regarding the legalities of neons and fog lights. But at least now everyone knows that if they want some half baked response from a brickhead yokel they can just ask you. Dropkick
