Default No Tray One Tonner

Is this legal, I have had to take the tray off because the GAS Tank has to be fitted, paint the rear of the cab, have hand brake cables custom made.
The car is running on a unregistered permit for the next month.

Common sense suggests that it would be Illegal to run with no guards at all.
So I improvised this set up. The flaps are rubber only problem is I cant do a rear flap 45 from the wheel. The cross braces are wood cable tied and hose clamped to the chassis. The wood does not protrude from out side the front of the cab, I thought of steel braces but that would probably be too dangerous.
Got the idea from a new truck that also had wood cross braces I saw the other day, so that suggests it is legal.

Looking good Coop. By rights the wheels have to be covered to axle height but at least you've dome something. I wouldn't have a problem with it but how about zip tying a sheet of plywood or MDF so to cover the tailshaft (moving parts) and mufflers.
