Default seating change

hello, 1st timer

my HQ ute has a bench seat and a rego receipt that lists seating for 3

last saturday, i removed the bench and fitted a pair of monaro buckets, with a sort of centre console with a backrest ( i think it's factory ) in the middle of the 2 seats and left the 3 seatbelts in place

am i legal? should i take out the console and centre belt? do i need to register the seating changes with the relevant authority (queensland)?

thanx in advance, johnny

Forget about the rego slip. Check to see what the seating capacity is on the compliance plate. Any changes to that and you need to get a modification plate. Transport department have a list of places to get em.
