Doc,
Similar to another current thread, but anyhow. this is how the story goes. A good friend of mine just got her licence, and lives a bit out of town, instead of getting her parents to drive her down to the bus stop every morning, she started to drive her car down to the bus stop and leave it parked there all day 7.30am till 5pm. The bus stop is a car park that is used by the local primary school. the only signs up are at the bus stop there of which it says "no standing anytime (busses exepted)" my friend got a handwriten note on her windscreen yesterday stating, "Please note, this carpark is dessignated by the department of education for the staff of glengarry primary school" (or something to that effect.) im just wondering, can she be booked? clamped? what could happen if she continues to park there. i have drawn a really basic diagram of how its layed out ![]() ![]() cheers.

Looks by the drawing that it could possibly be public parking allocated to the school. I don't know the area so it's a bit hard to comment. Best bet would be to contact the local council and see if they know whose land it is. We'd have something to work with then. doc
