I have heard on the grape vine that "Junk Yard Dog Racing" has now taken over the Nostalgia series. Do you know if there is any truth to this?

Yep, I just found that out the other day. They also bought the "NITRO" magazine aswell. Wouldnt be a bad living hey, traveling to all the top tracks around Oz running the series. Wonder if they make a living with it or is it someone with big bucks having fun?

Well the rumours are true hey?

I guess that the other rumour I heard of alot of racers not attending because of the new owner(s) might be true too.

Hey Ash, Just found this on the Nostalgia website. It says up to Lj and Hg, but then it says pre 1972 cars. How can they leave out Hq when they started building them in 1971???
I've only raced my 68 Camaro there so it has probably always been that way I guess.
I might email them to clarrify things I think.
Are you taking your coupe out, if so I'll keep an eye out

Ok, More research shows you can run your HQ in Streetmachine class, but thats if they decide to run that class at that event, which doesnt look like they do at Willowbank.

thanks for the update dude...
no, the coupe is off the road now. I bought a cracker of a Q wagon off ebay and have it set up stocko-rocko, whitewalls, venetians the lot. I wanted it to sit down a bit so I have the springs out of the coupe in that, pretty much sparked a complete rebuild of the old girl (which as you know, it needed!!)
I am on the lookout for a 202 or 186 motor for it as the one I have is about to throw a rod!! Know of any sitting around anywhere?

I'll ask around mate, dime a dozen these days. Knowing your luck you'll find one for bugger all.
