Default Photoshop newbie and VS Wagon

Hi all. I have to say there is some very nice work done here. How long does it take to do some of these? I wouldnt mind learning how to do this myself. I assume adobe photoshop is what most people would be using? Can i get a free trial version of this?

I have just purchased a VS Berlina station wagon. My last car was VX HSV XU6 and before that a VS SS. So this one looks pretty plain in comparison. I am after some ideas as to what I could do with it. If anyone has the time to have a bit of play I would appreciate it heaps.

usually takes 1-2 hours for me
if ur after a free and legal way around the $4-ish K pricetag of fotoshop, the gimp is very similar, free (legally), i use it 4 my chops, seems ok

i'm currently working on a VL commo chop as well. plenty of mods on it

I just downloaded Gimp and a trial version of photoshop. Gimp seems to have much the same as photoshop. So if I am going to learn one it may as well be that.

some good ideas here:

roof chop, rims, lowering, paintjob, headlights and tail-lights, window tint, shaved door handles, smoothed panels, bumper joins removed. pretty quick. look good?
