This sounds like an exceptionally good idea. Have three problems though....
1. Whether the monthly payroll Gods smile on me Friday night (payday is Sunday, but 90% of the time they are fairly easy going when payday lands on the weekend)... 2. Have to pull the Quadrajet off Saturday morning and give it a birthday... 3. And whether the "Minister for finance and home affairs" is in an agreeable mood or not. In a perfect world, the mysterious payroll people in Melbourne will push the button on Friday arvo, and the Quaddy would be off, cleaned, and back on by lunchtime Saturday (depending on Friday night's activities of course). THEN, I could say, "Honey Pie, need to take the ute for a drive to test the carb, do you want to come?". And, as Tiny said in the other thread, should go throught the M5 tunnels to get there. Geez I love that sound!! Kev |

As I said in the other thread, I'm hoping to be there. I never thought of pulling the carbie and then calling it a test drive. That's not a bad plan... |
