Rims are 4.5inch negative offset. So 3.5back space. That's about as much negative as you can run on a stock Kingswood (Q-Z) and it needs the guards rolled. Not sure about Statesman but figure it would be the same.
Thanks for the reply bud, I reckon it looks tough as, better than a set of ricecar 20's any day. Still dunno why people put massive diameter wheels on old cars, to me it ruins them. Go as wide as you want but. I started a thread looking for some 14x8's and a bloke has offered me a set for $200. Beauty. I've always wanted to do it, I had a HJ statesman 7-8 years ago, just never got around to it. All the best with your build.
Hi mate. The rims are only 14x8 but they're well offset. I'll try get one off tomorrow for a measure. Tyres are 245/60's and the guards are rolled. Stock width diff, stock tubs. It's just that offset that really makes them fill the guards.
And sorry but they're not for sale yet. I've got 15x10's but they'll keep till the new drivetrain. Took me ages to get this setup right. Back before it came off the road it was different. 2 years later while it's been in the shed and now fat stocker wheels are the in thing! But i'll sport them for a while yet.
