I'll throw in a couple 1 Hornet, 2 Dart, 3 Lark, 4 Phoenix, 5 Eldorado, 6 Ramcharger, 7 Roadrunner 8 Prince.
NB; some of these can have 2 names of makers.

The Silver bullet ???? Farrrk..How old are you....did you swing with Yoda at the Jedi Academy.. Dunno the answer... but in my small head somewhere something tells me it was aircraft engine. it was also around the time of the streamliners. like Malcom Campbell that was an Aircraft engine too from the 20s in the Blue flame...Been wrong before so

Survey Says ?

Without any research, i'd say the silver bullet was a race car of the fifties, competing at Le Mans, the one with air brakes (like a plane, a big metal shield was raised when braking), and the 300 SL was based on this car. I'll have a look though..
