Default Good products

After reading how good ppl think canifornia purple is I thought I'd start this thread to find out how good & which products you lot think are worth trying.I'll start with one,it's the mothers clay bay.We used it a car that i don't think had been washed polished or anything for at least a year.Man did it leave a clean flat surface to start from. This is NOT to try & push any one product just what ppl would recomend to their mates, mainly in the detailing dept.

Meguiars Metal Polish, brilliant stuff for polishing chrome especially, no abrasives in it and from my experience, i havent found anything better yet.

For interior, Autoglym vinyl & rubber care. Works a treat and doesn't leave the greasy film that Armour-all does.

Meguiars leather cleaner and the conditioner as well.

Dri Glide spray, great for bonnet hinges, bonnet latches, doors.
Does not collect dust, lasts for ages.

Loctite Freeze and Release, gets rusted bolts out a treat.
Great for putting in bush pins such as door hinges and suspension bushes.

Rubber magic from Rares, softens new rubbers so you can close the doors. Spray on. Leave over night with door closed.

For the not so energetic mothers power balls, these are used to polish your ali parts, you use them with a variable speed drill.

I saw a Mythbusters episode a couple of years ago where they compared a big brand metal polish ( it looked like autosol but I couldn't be sure) with Coke and al foil... heaps better finish with the coke
