yep, the keg is kept warm, the ice goes in the resivour. res will normally hold 3-4l of beer, the ice chills the beer in the res, rather than the whole keg.

create an elecronicaly cooled resivour (freezer but with a thermostat so when the beer is at 1degree, it shuts off type thing)

thats what i mean, but the issue would be that the fridge wouldnt cool the beer quick enough, maybe a 2k engel or waeco (sp?) freezer would work well, but you'd want it to shut off before the beer freezes.
and lupin, dont forget that it means you need to put the bottle of gas somewhere aswell.

Hook up ya washer motor into the keg, the and the lines going into the cab of the ute, then pull ya washer stalk and instant beer. Prob not the best thing for a ute though, since the max no. of ppl drinking while driving (legaly) could be 2. Maybe a sedan with the keg in the boot and the lines running through the car would be right.
