Angry Just a little confused.

What the hell is a style side Ute...? I know a "well body" and "stepside" or tray back.
And whats with Ford Territorys, Rav 4's and other crap being a "SUV" or Sports Utility Vehicle... They aint Sporty, they aint a ute that i last saw.. and a vehicle? yea they can have that title.

( Sporty being dizzy blonde language ) for, has cup holders, MP3 player, and Air conditioning. ABS IRS and any other acronym

Some people call a wellside a styleside, others say its a stepside. I think it has something to do with differences between what they call their trucks in the US and utes down under. Americans always have to do things differently, and the marketing buzz words come into it a lot, especially when one car marker calls it something then the others can't or don't want to copy.

I used to work for a Holden dealer, and when it come to commercials like the Rodeo, Holden in it's literature always referred to the full body ute tray as a 'styleside' as opposed to a cab/chassis fitted with an aluminium tray or similar

The new holden is not really a wagon now, as in the way the others were. it's got less room in the back part. i am not going to buy one now. i could not see out of it, to many blind spots. it's to heavy. the v6 is gutless unless you are riving the gut out of it. and is not practical. same with the VE ute for me, it's a step in the wrong direction, they are trading practicality for trendy crap. and i am f--ken p---ed off! i am having to look at the ford tray back now, the ute does not have the room like a vy. and now looking at the mazda 6. not that i wont to but there you go. HOW DOES ONE GET THROUGH TO HOLDEN TO COMPLANE.

i hope your not reffering to the cabin of the ve???, as you could almost swallow the vy's cabin in the ve.
I was surprised with the room in the rear of the ve wagon though.. i guess holden is looking at the RS4 for inspiration. Im still considering one for the family though

Evil-ss. I am referring to the back tray area. VE and falcon.
Why no 3 seat option, in a commodore ute.
We are still living in the 70's with the ford Ute's non adjustable column auto. 3 seater. i suppose it's ok if it's a company car. but to pay hard cash for that rubbish in 2008. it offensive!
