Default 8 cylinder on rego papers?

hi, today i got the new rego papers for my 2000 prado ,wich is a 3.4L v6 ,however on the new papers i got today say it is an 8 cylinder,my old ones say 6 cyl witch is correct ? sweet im thinking ,
just wondering ,has this ever happened to any one else out there ?if so did the dpi change it back ? or can i take it as a sign and try squeeze an injected v8 in it .

Easy way to work that one out... Go pop your bonnet, and count how many cylinders it has

A friend of mine had a VT Calais V6. Last year, when her rego was due, it had on there that it was a 4cylinder. Becuase she was on a pension, it was only like $200something for 12 months... Needless to say, she payed it pretty quick, before they caught on to it.

I would be going in to see them, and telling them it is only a V6. Otherwise you are going to be paying a lot more for rego.
