just after a alloy radiator for my vk,wondering if you do Chrome / Polished Twin thermo shrouds?
If so i'd love one to suit, but if not,a price on a Alloy Radiator for VK V8 Berlina would be lovely. And a price on postage to 6171 Western Australia. Thanks Heaps. Scott. |

yeah spot on.not too sure bout the VL tho.. For the moment we are distributing the Golpher brand you can find on ebay also, difference is we pressure test every unit and clean them up a bit from welding dags and badly drilled outlet holes. We also offer a 2 year warranty.. for the 52mm thick version your looking at $350 delivered. cheers Nath |

Guys just to let you know, the VN V8 rads are a little different to the VB/VK,the bottom outlet is all the way down the bottom rather than 120mm up..
As we are not only a manufacturer of radiators but also an importer and wholesaler of other brads,PWR/MSPEC/ASI/GOLPHER I have sourced one from Golpher and we are modifying them to suit.. They are 52mm thick and look pretty good to be honest, some are a little warped but we sraighten them up ,clean out the welding dags and pressure test them and double the warranty to 2 years for good measure.. The total cost for the golpher one is $500 delivered and all we have done is simply cut off the bottom outlet and moved it up,and also moved the bottom locating pins in. I will get a pic up soon and Smitty should have one installed in his car soon aswel. I will be getting some made up soon and may even launch a group buy, which will be a little more refined with temp sensor bungs etc. That wont be for another 2 onths tho,so stay tuned. cheers Nath 0400 185 679 |

Rusty im not sure of their capabilities and for somthing like your engine I would advise that you wait for our own to be developed as we will be going 52mm tripple core tripple pass as standard and if that doesnt do the job I would be looking at underbonnet temps being the culprit over a shit radiator. ![]() Due to the response on here for the VK-VB rads I may launch a group buy if I can get interest for 5-10? I will work out some costings on the tripple core tripple pass units and see wha I can do..I will be aiming to keep it below the $500 mark with or without shipping. ProVK,without doing labcoat style testing but given that they are about 15-25mm thicker than standard and the aluminium dissipates heat better than copper or brass the difference is moderate to substantial over the original units(depending on the cond of your stocker)...I have a customer with a 400 plus hp VU SS that is now running a 1/4 gauge less temp all round when driving with a near identical radiator. His stock rad was in perfect condition aswel... They are a definate step up in both performance and looks... Hopefully Smitty will be able to fill us in on his results after his run around the track. cheers Nath |

No probs Rusty,
Basically guys we will be doing the same core and size for everything from the VB to VL as we have discovered that all this platform needs is different locating pins and outlets to suit them all... One thing I have noticed on the VB,VK etc is that there isnt really any reason to have the ugly mongy top section,as in it isnt used to bot to anything like the VL does. Am I missing somthing? Because I would prefer to have that top piece all polished and flat to look a bit more presentable, also the wire peices that run down the face,WTF were they for? Anyways,I would really like suggestions from you guys as to what you would like the radiator to have,do you want the provisoin for a temp sensor? If so where? Stock fan shroud only or provision to get some thermo fans on there without having to modify that radiator. et me know as we will be going into production in 2 weeks on 10-20 and I would like to not only get it right from the start but have a couple of extra little features that will make them stand out from my competitors. cheers Nathan JAR 0400 185 679 |
