Can't have been tyre shake, you only get that ON the throttle, not OFF the throttle.

What I know is:

- The driver disengaged the clutch, allowing the rear wheels to free-wheel.
- Obviously something came loose in the rear end, the wheels were loose but still hung on to the car.

He really was dumb for letting it free-wheel on the dyno, why would you do that?

With some dynos, you can allow the car to free-wheel to measure the transmission losses and calculate a fairly accurate flywheel horsepower figure.

wouldnt really have a clue wat happened to the hotrod but when v8 supercar watts linkages break they bounce and move like that so mayb a watts linkage type rearend?
